If you've not come across St. Aidan's before .... we are one of the foremost state secondary schools for music in the north of England, with 17 ensembles meeting to rehearse weekly and 120 GCSE music students. In the Associated 6th Form with St. John Fisher RC High School we have 40 students following A-level Music and Music Technology courses. Much of our work, including recordings, is funded by the Scott Aitken Music Technology Foundation, set up in memory of Scott who studied A-level Music Technology and who was tragically killed in a road accident before his A-level results. If you are a student at St. Aidan's you can create an artist profile at www.numu.org.uk/join/aidansound and get uploading! You can hear other students' music, upload your own, comment, create a profile, and much more! Our label on NUMU is called Aidansound. We are aiming to have lots of tracks uploaded onto NUMU in the very near future. If you have made recordings of KS3, GCSE or A-level Music and Music Technology coursework do upload them! Also anything else you've recorded yourself and you'd like the world to hear! This is a safe environment, and all content uploaded must be checked by a teacher before it 'goes live'. |
